We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with extensive experience in library management or academic skills support to lead the Learning Hub - the future of the physical library, digital resources, academic skills support and advising. This will be achieved through innovative approaches and systems that create a one-stop shop designed to seamlessly foster student success throughout their academic journey.
This pivotal role centres around dynamic development and delivery, aiming to empower students not only to meet but exceed their academic aspirations through our cutting-edge Learning Hub.
With an innovative approach and a collaborative, change-focused leadership style, you will guide our newly developed team of academic support staff through synergised change management, keeping student success at the forefront of your strategy.
This position can be held from any of ACAP's campus locations, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Planning for the future of the Learning Hub to support the College's development and growth
- Managing day-to-day operations of the Learning Hub
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Monitoring outcomes and driving continuous improvement
- Driving change management through progressive leadership
**In addition to a student-first approach it is essential you can **demonstrate**:
- Leadership in fostering academic success within a higher education setting, with an understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines, aiming to cultivate opportunities for students to enhance their academic skills and capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to deliver projects in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based design and delivery of services within a strengths-based approach
- Relevant academic qualifications or equivalent extensive professional experience gained in an academic library setting

- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing successful change initiatives, with the capability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams through periods of change
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans
- Experience in budget management and financial administration
