About the Role
The Agile Delivery Lead directs and supports a group of delivery squads composed of Engineers, Product Owners, Analysts, Testers, and other specialists. You will support the squads to deliver quality software at a fast but sustainable pace.
Our program is highly complex, and you will be required to work with a broad range of partners, peers, and stakeholders to make sure your squads have what they need to deliver.

What could your day look like?
Working closely the Initiative Lead and Product Owners to manage the strategic delivery dependencies across value / tech streams
Ensuring all squads have a pipeline of valuable work which is prioritised by the Product Owner and ready to pick up
Developing plans, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting our release process.
Resolving blockers and issues that impact the squad’s ability to meet their goals
Adapting working cadence, delivery approach, operational rhythm to suit a changing environment
Generate a positive working environment that celebrates incremental achievements
Helping the teams to be self-sufficient and empowering them to lead themselves and each other through change and uncertainty
Engaging and influencing stakeholders around delivery trade-offs and risks.
What's in your toolkit?
You have a solid understanding of agile / lean development methodologies and principles. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves, lean into challenges and forge a way through complex problems and situations, bringing your squads and stakeholders along with you. =
**You will have**:
Previous experience scoping and developing plans for complex, strategic pieces of work that stretch across multiple squads
Leadership, coaching and influencing skills. The role is highly visible and requires a cool head and a highly effective working style
Technical Project Management or Agile Delivery Experience in a modern software engineering environment
Ability to convey, explain and understand information in written reports, clearly and concisely
Willing to make timely decisions, preferably data-driven, in rapidly changing and high-risk situations.
**Desirable domain knowledge, but not mandatory**:
Experience in digital banking app development
Experience in API’s & microservices.
