About the role

The Monitor Automate and Control (MAC) Value Stream identifies, monitors and supports development of controls to ensure that our product, processes and services are compliant, fit for purpose and operating effectively within acceptable risk tolerances.

As the Operational Risk Manager for ANZ Plus, your mission is to support the business in managing its operational risk profile, provide portfolio level reporting, and maintain governance and oversight to Event and Issue Management across the business in line with Enterprise Risk Frameworks and tools.

You will join a highly engaged, multidisciplinary team of risk and compliance enablement specialists who think about compliance and risks differently, with data driven insights at its heart.

What will your day look like

**The overarching portfolio of work includes**:

- Prepare and facilitate the monthly ANZ Plus Operational Risk Forum
- Develop portfolio level risk reporting for divisional risk committees
- Support the ANZ Plus leadership with maintaining the business risk profile across various risk systems
- Perform daily incident triage and direct event management activities across the business
- Coordinate Internal Audit Issue and Action activities to be completed by ANZ Plus Issue Owners
- Embedding risk awareness and escalation and recording of risk information as needed.

What will you bring?

For this role you don’t need a tech risk background, however a demonstrated interest in digital and technology is highly regarded.

Strong expertise in operational risk management, assurance or operational excellence.
Experience in contributing to effective teams, and building new work streams in the face of ambiguity and changing requirements
Adaptive to change, able to keep pace with a complex and overlapping regulatory environment with a diverse stakeholder group
Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution and delivery focus.
You’re interested in using data and insights to help drive decision making
Presence, impact and influence in small and large group setting with both internal and external senior stakeholders
