**About the role**
Velocity Vehicle Group Australia (VVGA) is on a very exciting transformation journey and our Corporate team is playing a key role in that journey. To that effect, we are in search for a
**Parts Inventory & Warehousing Analyst.**
This position will be responsible for the analysis and purchasing strategy, inventory and logistics optimisation across VVG national dealership locations, reporting to the Director - Parts Inventory and Logistics and in direct correlation and functions with the Parts Business Analyst.
**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Reviewing and developing purchasing strategies across all parts location
- Working closely with various key stakeholders including VVG dealer managed inventory partner
- Providing information and advice on purchasing strategies to ensure a cost-effective optimal supply of parts
- Working with internal stakeholders to determine the appropriate inventory and purchasing levels for all sites.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement with purchasing and logistics
- Updating and maintaining the DMS system
- Working on projects cross-departmentally
- Completing financial analysis and modelling to assist with purchasing and inventory management
- Monitoring inventory metrics, market activity and competitors to ensure VVG’s pricing is competitive and in line with organisational goals
- Preferably at least 3 years of analyst experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of various DMS platforms
- Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel and other data tools
- Ability to interpret and analyse data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer literacy
- Attention to detail
- Customer focus
