Position Purpose

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Supply Planning & Inventory Manager to lead the end-to-end supply planning and scheduling process across Interface Australia and New Zealand.

This role is responsible for managing the full scope of planning activities, including demand forecasting, purchasing, raw material and finished goods allocation, inventory management, and the implementation of a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. A key focus of the role is driving process improvement across production planning and yarn ordering to ensure an effective balance between stock availability, production capacity, and customer satisfaction.

Areas of Responsibility
- Lead and optimise supply planning processes, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), production planning, scheduling, and yarn ordering.
- Oversee raw material purchasing
- Drive capacity and production planning
- Ensure efficient production scheduling
- Manage inventory levels
- Optimise supply chain operations
- Minimise third-party logistics (3PL) storage costs through improved inventory management and planning practices.
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings
- Support local implementation of global improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless execution.
- Foster a strong safety culture

Qualifications and Experience Required
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years’ of progressive experience in s supply chain, operations planning, or manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in Australia with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and empowering planning professionals
- Strategic and hands-on mindset.
- Proven expertise in production and materials requirements planning to ensure timely production schedules
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted cross-functional partnerships
- A strong drive for continuous improvement and implementing global projects locally and driving positive changes within the manufacturing industry
