**Your new role**

Your new role as the Human Resources Business Partner is to provide your expertise in completing employee and industrial investigations, providing disciplinary advice and assisting team leaders with the implementation of strategies and procedures. You will be accountable for the delivery of high-level human resource management advice and services to specific work units, whilst providing relevant training and coaching to staff on leadership capabilities to build improved performance. The role will deliver a strong contribution to the provision of an efficient and effective industrial and employee relations service across all required processes in a complex environment which, in turn, contributes to the strategic objectives of the department.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Build and maintain effective and collaborative business partnerships and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the alignment of all HR systems, processes, and programs to achieve strategic and operational business success consistent with the departments values.
- Ensure business leaders are provided with timely and accurate HR information and reports to aid timely and informed decision-making.
- Ensure people management practices are ethical and aligned with the enterprise strategy and programs
- Contribute and support execution to the design, development, implementation and review of People and Culture strategies, policies and programs across the organisation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contemporary Human Resource development, initiatives and methodologies, evolving legislative requirements and industry and best practice trends.
