**About the role**

Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager and located at Head Office in Para Hills West, the Human Resources Officer will be for the provision of effective and timely Human Resources advice and administration that supports the achievement of LAS business objectives.

**Duties**:

- Provide administrative and HR service support to HR Business Partner(s)
- Assist and support with end to end recruitment activities including but not limited to sourcing, shortlisting, phone screens and reference checks
- Coordinate pre-employment process; medical and police check
- Support Onboarding process of new employees
- Build robust and effective relationships with relevant stakeholders (i.e. internal and external) to facilitate timely and accurate communications and service delivery
- Administer national apprentice program from a HR perspective
- Produce and maintain HR related documents and monthly HR reports
- Work with the National HR team and contribute to the development and implementation HR projects, initiatives, policies and practices

**Skills & Experience**:

- 2 + years’ experience in a HR Admin / Officer or equivalent role
- Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources preferred
- Experience with end-to-end recruitment process
- Initiative and self-drive with problem solving skills
- Approachable and collaborative team player
- Passion for learning new things with high attention to detail
