Production Team Leader

Full-time permanent role based in Banksmeadow, Sydney

As the AM Production Team Leader, you are a continuous improvement champion and you take ownership of daily production operations, managing a team of 9 staff with a focus on people, safety, quality, and service. This is a permanent full-time position based in Banksmeadow NSW working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with weekend work required from time to time (penalty rates are paid on weekends)

In this role, you will:

- Lead and manage a team of up to 9 staff
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace aligned to WHS policy and legislation
- Oversee and manage the daily production plan
- Support the maintenance and servicing of machines, with a focus on regulatory and HACCP requirements
- Drive continuous improvement activities to increase efficiencies and productivity, with safety, quality, and people in mind

For this role as the AM Production Team Leader, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

- You hold leadership experience in a production environment
- Experience in the food production industry will be highly regarded
- You have basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience working with an ERP, such as Sage, will be highly regarded
- You are able to lift up to 20kg safely and comfortably
- You are flexible to work weekends as required
- You hold valid Australian working rights
