About the role

We are looking for a National Category Manager - Specialist to join our Rural Products leadership team in this exciting new, fast paced position on a permanent, full-time basis.

**Responsibilities**:
As a National Category Manager - Specialist, you will enjoy a day including:
- Implement and manage a supplier relationship framework, conducting regular reviews to enhance value for Elders.- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and LTIs, providing detailed reports to management and suppliers.- Gather and analyse demand planning information to inform strategic planning and core product ranges.- Lead the project management of new product line implementations in collaboration with the Elders Network.- Motivate and manage the team to exceed branch business plan expectations.- Ensure compliance with all Elders’ people leadership processes and policies.

About you

To excel at Elders, you:
- Extensive experience in agribusiness sales, operations, or marketing, with a solid understanding of agricultural supply chains.- Strong background in retail distribution, inventory management, and business planning, including KPI tracking.- Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate computer literacy skills.- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Business Management (desirable).- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to leadership and stakeholder management.- Committed to safety, with a proactive attitude towards compliance with quality and environmental standards.- Results-oriented, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.- Motivated to develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
