**The Role**
As the Food & Beverage Category Manager you will be primarily responsible for developing and managing the national strategic procurement plan to ensure the required savings, supply chain efficiencies and ESG objectives are achieved. You will be involved in sourcing and contract management ofwith local and national supplier arrangements to deliver the optimum service, quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements for the business, combined with relationship and performance management to achieve enhanced business value. This is a contemporary strategic procurement role that requires an experienced, innovative and adaptive Procurement and Commercial leader that knows how to positively influence and deliver strategic procurement outcomes for a wide group of internal and external stakeholders. The business is ambitious with its future park growth profile and is heavily focused on how it grows responsibly and delivers ESG outcomes across all aspects of the business. For this reason we are seeking driven individuals who can demonstrate how their strategic procurement and commercial experience maps into a business that is highly dynamic.
Reporting to the Head ofProcurement and Commercial you will be responsible for delivering savings, supply chain efficiencies and procurement ESG outcomes as it pertains to the national Food and Beverage Category. The role will have both structured and unstructured components. There will be a need to contribute to the development of innovative process and policy improvements as well as lead and implement more structured ‘source to contract’ strategies and strategic supplier relationships. Applicants who can showcase their experience in large and complex organisations conducting market analysis, developing procurement strategies, business requirements, managing supplier evaluation processes, conducting supplier negotiations, finalising commercial agreements and supporting the implementation of new agreements are encouraged to apply.You must be able to demonstrate previous experience with developing sourcing strategies and Your stakeholder consultation approach to optimise the supply base and enhance the Total Cost of Ownership of external spend as well as identifying and managing supply chain risks and opportunities across the Food & Beverage category.
The Category Manager will be conducting and leading strategic business reviews with key suppliers, coordinate standardisation and driving change towards more innovative ESG procurement practices across our Parks network.
To fulfil the role’s duties in full, you may be required to travel interstate to park sites.
**Your Experience**
At least 3+ years demonstrated work experience in Strategic Procurement and/or structured Commercial roles in a large organisation is highly desirable as is possessing highly developed communication skills including verbal, written and presentation.
You must be able to prove previous experience with developing and negotiating contracts for material and service-based categories.. Having a solid track record of delivering successful key supplier obligations whilst maximising cost savings is essential as is possessing extensive experience with supplier relationship management.
An undergraduate Business degree orProcurement (CIPSA), qualification is not essential but desirable.
