Our client, home to well-known global brands, have an exciting, 12 month fixed term opportunity, with the option to become permanent. The role will be based in brand-new contemporary office space in Alexandria. Our client is a leading homeware and appliance company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to customers. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they have established themselves as a trusted leader in the industry.
About the role:
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships and growing the existing account base both in store and via digital channels. Experience in Ecommerce will be highly beneficial to support this role.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans to achieve sales, profit and product targets.
- Drive increased market share and product penetration.
- Develop profitable long-term relationships with new and existing customers, while providing first class customer service.
- Build brand loyalty with key client influencers and decision makers.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations/documentation as appropriate to achieve ranging.
- Proactively explore and follow up every opportunity to build a strong pipeline.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity, and recommend marketing and sales tactics.
- Provide the inventory team with meaningful long-term forecasts for your account base.
- Work with the marketing team around product strategy and innovation.
- Support the Ecommerce strategy.
Requirements for the role:
- Sales experience in small appliances, homeware or related industry preferred.
- Proven ability to drive new business and sales growth.
- Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills.
- Experience in MS Office package, in particular excel and PowerPoint.
- A “hands on - can do” attitude and a flexible nature are essential.
