Salesforce Practice Lead

**The role**:
An exciting new role is now available in the Business Technology and Services (BTS) division of South East Water

Working across multiple groups within the business, you will support, improve and develop on enhancing the technologies and platforms, whilst working on several concurrent projects and work items. The role will be also be accountable for software development, enhancements, and deployment on Salesforce products and solutions.

**Who are you?**:
If this challenging new role appeals, you'll require the following skills, knowledge and experience to be considered:

- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in information technology and/or Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator.
- 7+ years’ experience in managing Salesforce platforms across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud
- Strong experience with code deployment, release management, Apex, Lightning component/web component, SOQL, web services, APIs, integration, DevOps and Salesforce DX
- Strong experience in code management and source code branching using Git
- 5+ years’ experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML and SOAP.
- Demonstrated ability to manage (plan, lead, mentor and organise) technical staff in a diverse software development environment.
- Strong skills and experience in leading project development and mentoring developers
- Experience and knowledge in software development practices including SDLC, waterfall and Agile.
- Experience in working collaboratively and influencing a wide range of technical and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
- Proven ability to work in a complex Salesforce environment, using problem solving skills to determine root cause.
- Strong knowledge on best practice, policies, and governance of enterprise software management.
- Ability to work closely with a team of Architects, Developers from different disciplines, as well as Business Analysts
