**The role**:
The Digital & Transformation Team at South East Water (SEW) has implemented an exciting operational enhancement to better support the company's strategic priorities. This includes the creation of a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to enhance innovation and deliver greater business impact. As part of this transformation, several new roles now exist across the team.

We believe that digital and emerging technologies have a critical role to play in enabling us to provide the highest quality water and sewerage services for our customers, as efficiently as possible and ensure we deliver on our vision. As the Project Management Lead, you will lead the delivery of technology and business solutions which focuses on coordinating and guiding a project team, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and delivery of project goals. You are responsible for fostering a positive team environment, facilitating communication, and ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. Your role will entail the management of portfolio risks, issues and dependencies and serve to resolve contention for the Project Management team.

The Project Management Lead will oversee the Project Management team, ensuring effective delivery, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of methodologies and tools. This role involves driving project performance, resolving stalled initiatives, managing portfolio risks, and acting as an escalation point for project and team issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop the Project Management team, enhancing maturity in practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Digital & Technology (D&T) roadmap.
- Ensure optimal team resourcing and priority management.
- Intervene in high-risk or stalled projects to restore progress.
- Manage portfolio risks and issues.
- Act as an escalation point for project, team, and process challenges.

**Who are you?**:

- Demonstrated background in technology delivery, portfolio management, or IT leadership.
- Knowledge of system integrations, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in portfolio management tooling and framework development.
- Ability to align teams, delegate tasks, and foster collaboration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
