Beach Street Family Medicine is a fully accredited General Practice seeking an experienced Practice Manager in primary health to manage and support the Partners, Doctors, Nurses and staff. Our medical centre has Doctors focusing in all facets of medicine such as skincare, cosmetic medicine, mental health, psychology and endocrinology.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in primary healthcare practice management is required.

Job Description:

The Practice Manager is responsible for providing exceptional leadership and management to the Clinic.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Overseeing and ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day running and operation of the Clinic
  • Maintain full accreditation to RACGP standards .
  • Current RACGP accreditation knowledge and experience is essential for this role.
  • Engage, lead and recruit the team of employees
  • Manage and maintain IT systems.
  • Understanding of Medicare, insurance and medical software packages
  • Expert level Medicare billing and claiming experience is required.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Managing all financial aspects of the running of the Clinic.

  • Outstanding organisational and time management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams in a Healthcare setting
  • Experience managing large teams of 15+ people in healthcare is required.
  • Previous experience with Best Practice Software is an advantage
  • Previous leadership or supervisory position is desirable.
