**About the role**:
Reporting to our National Scheduling Supervisor, a fantastic opportunity is on offer for you to join Ampol’s Carrier Operations Team.

In Carrier Operation, you will be counted on to ensure the Safe, Seamless, and Sustainable delivery of bulk fuels around Australia to power better journeys.

The role will manage the daily activities associated with the cartage of bulk fuels to various Ampol customer sites including Retail Convenience, Commercial and Mining. You will ensure incident free operations, cost effective outcome and compliance with all Ampol statutory regulations. You will also be working with the Carrier Operations Team to implement and develop effective ongoing strategies to fulfil our purpose.

**Typically, in the last month as a Scheduling Coordinator, you would have**:

- Update and distribute mining reports to key stakeholders daily.
- Crosscheck all redirection paperwork submitted and process accurately.
- Investigate why a redirection has taken place.
- Investigate and action queries from other teams within Ampol.
- Process reported Site Defects, notifying key stakeholders for action, using 2 different systems.
- Logging and investigation of all reported stockouts.
- Locating and notifying the correct stakeholders around Site Works.
- Maintaining weekly and monthly reports/dashboard using Excel and Power BI.
- Maintaining KPI reporting on all carrier contracts monthly & quarterly, which determine ancillary charges.
- Using Excel and other Microsoft systems daily to develop ad hoc requests for data.
- Attend weekly team and individual meetings.
- Attend group meetings to develop and support our ongoing statement of Safe, Seamless, and Sustainable delivery of bulk fuels around Australia to power better journeys.
- Develop, upload and share material through our online portals.
- Provide ad hoc role relief to the schedulers as required.
- Uploading dips and deliveries to Ampol’s scheduling tool.
- Support the team of schedulers in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Create and process manual loads through SAP on an ad hoc basis.
- Answer after hours calls from key stakeholder to guide and support in unusual situations.
- Work collaboratively with B2B and Retail Business Managers to help meet customer needs.
- Coordinate and support the administrative activities of the Carrier Operations group including meeting preparation & management, minute taking, and action item follow up.
- Work from home for 3 days per week and from one of our terminals or head office for 2 days.
- Work independently to devise and develop effective administrative workflows to increase efficiency.
- Build & maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally & externally.
- Willingness to learn complex new skills.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all reports and Dashboards are updated timely and accurately.
- Provide ad hoc role relief and after-hours rostered support as required across the Logistics Scheduling team.
- Coordinate and support the administrative activities of the Logistics Scheduling team and Carrier Operations team.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Understand customer requirements, ensuring deliveries are conducted in a safe, seamless, and sustainable way.
- Support the development and implementation of Ampol’s Bulk Fuel Cartage Strategy
- Manage safe fleet operations to ensure compliance to statutory, regulatory and Ampol standards.
