The Healthcare Management Recoveries team managing a significant annual portfolio through identification, verification, recovery, and reconciliation activities for incorrectly overpaid claims to Bupa Ancillary and Hospital Providers.

As Recoveries Officer, you’ll be joining a collaborative team who review and assess overpayments from hospital, ancillary and ancillary overseas medical claims and work with providers and customers to recover overpayments.

**How will I help?**
- Provide claims advice and expertise to identify areas of actual and potential claims leakage and recommend system changes
- Manage a claims debt management portfolio, closing outstanding cases
- With your clear communication skills, you’ll manage complex conversations with providers and customers to achieve positive outcomes
- Identify and manage customer and provider refunds, as well as claim reconciliation activities
- Through audit and recovery queries, identify claims risk patterns

**What do I need?**

You’ll also bring:

- Experience working with insurance or hospital claims systems with some understanding of Bupa’s comprehensive products
- Advanced skills in excel to manipulate claims adjustments, proficient in navigating Sharepoint and Teams with a natural ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong knowledge retention and detailed attention to follow process and compliance requirements
- Team spirit, to successfully collaborative working together to achieve team targets and business goals
- Proactive & diligent mindset, with clear communication style to negotiate and achieve desired outcome of monies reimbursement from providers and customers.
