**Your new company**
This State Government department are all about working together to connect the people and places of South Australia. They are seeking a temporary Debt Collection Officer to join their busy team for a period of 3 months.

**Your new role**
As a Debt collection officer you will be managing a portfolio of customers with debts owing to the department, you will liaise with the customers to organise repayment of funds, organise debt management plans and work with the customer to ensure timely repayments. Along with this you will investigate and resolve complaints, manage the customer files to ensure accurate data and compile information to prepare concise reporting for stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer centric financial services role
- Resilience and drive
- The ability to work towards KPIS and Deadlines
- Financial nuance
- Confidence in performing outbound phone calls
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently across multiple systems maintaining database integrity

**What you'll get in return**
A competitive hourly rate of $42 plus super within 3 month temporary role within State Government, with potential for extension. A central modern office located within Adelaide's CBD. Once Trained this position offers the ability to work a 7.5 hour shift flexibly between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
