**About us**:
The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors is a private RTO providing Higher Education specialising in the delivery of external education programs in counselling, community services, financial counselling, and various business courses. AIPC and our staff are passionate about assisting people formalise their natural helping abilities so they can support others to lead happier, healthier lives.

**About the role**:
This is a **full-time campus-based **position in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane with a 6-month probationary period. Work hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. A part time appointment at 0.8 FTE would also be considered.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

- Develop and conduct online teaching and student engagement sessions.
- Encourage the engagement of students in their studies.
- Marking student assessments in accordance with assessment and moderation policies.
- Identifying and liaising with students at risk and establishing individual learning plans as needed.

**About you**

The successful applicant will ideally have:

- An AASW-approved Social Work qualification at Master level.
- Experience in higher education teaching and assessment.
- Eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work.
