Esl Teacher

We are a small RTO delivering nationally recognised VET qualifications in business, cookery and hospitality, and ELICOS.

We require one or two part-time, qualified ESL teachers to deliver our ELICOS program to our student cohorts in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and/or Southport, Gold Coast.

**Duties**
- Prepare for, deliver and test English courses offered by the RTO
- Participate in course validation and moderation
- Mark, correct and provide feedback on students’ assignments and assessments
- Maintain students’ attendance
- Generate student reports
- Manage resources effectively and efficiently
- Provide general academic support as directed by the Academic Manager
- Undertake and participate in other related activities/projects/duties as directed.

**Essential Selection Criteria**
- Expert level of General and Academic English
- Certificate IV or above in TESOL, or equivalent
- Bachelor degree or above
- Understanding of student needs and passionate in student support
- High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Two or more years experience teaching ESL to international students
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Willingness to obtain a Police Check
- Currently residing within normal commuting distance of Slacks Creek, QLD

The position commences immediately.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
