Our Group operations are based in Liverpool St. (Sydney CBD) providing support across all sites in several key areas including IT ensuring Evolution are positioned as a leader in effective optimisation of Information Technology.

About the role

The IT ERP Lead partners with the business to ensure it delivers on its short
- to medium-term plans in relation to the ERP and related systems. Reporting to the Group Manager Enterprise Applications, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve business performance through technical change and innovation, and then planning, designing, and deploying solutions within Evolution Mining to bring about this improvement. This will include:
Managing the day-to-day support of the ERP system (Pronto) and other ERP related systems, ensuring items are allocated and SLAs are met in terms of issues, incidents and service requests.

Supporting the development and deployment of cost effective and innovative technology solutions that add value to the business, managing projects such as new system implementations, integrations and other business improvement initiatives within the ERP domain.
Leading a small team of System Analysts, mentoring, developing, and coaching them in service and project delivery.
Managing vendors, developing relationships and ensuring they deliver on their KPIs. (Happy to update this to something better around vendor management).
Engaging key stakeholders across the business to understand the wider operational context and business processes, leveraging this understanding to identify opportunities and requirements for change.

About you

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in IT, Business Systems, or other relevant discipline, with significant relevant experience in mid
- to large-sized organisations. Experience with Pronto ERP and proven experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of ERP software solutions is strongly desired. You’ll have a thorough understanding of business process mapping, and designing and implementing improvements to business processes, as well as project management experience with a track record of leading large projects to successful implementation. Mining or heavy industry experience will be an advantage in this role, but applicants with the desired experience from other sectors are also encouraged to apply.

You will have proven leadership skills, with experience leading small teams. Your strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills will enable your success in this role as you engage and communicate with different audiences within the business in both site and group environments. You’ll have great analytical skills, and a good understanding of business processes, with the ability to capture business requirements, translate into functional requirements and to frame and contribute to technical requirements definition and solution architecture decisions and strategies.
