SimpliFi is an Allianz Global Program designed to deliver a Common Finance Core that will harmonize accounting and reporting processes across Allianz entities and become the “single source of truth" for Finance. The Program has 4 core components which will be delivered to all entities; 1) Finance ERP (S4/ HANA), 2) Data Pool, 3) Reporting Architecture, 4) Chart of Accounts and Master Data (CMC).

Allianz Australia will participate in Wave 3 of the Global SimpliFi Program which commenced in late 2024 and will “Go-Live” on 1 January 2027.

**About the role**
- Provide expertise in finance knowledge and expertise, specifically on the ERP scope, including end-to-end finance processes, to the AAL SimpliFi Project.
- Facilitate engagement with the Global SimpliFi Program and the Global ERP Tribe specifically to understand the Core SimpliFi ERP architecture and identify gaps to the AAL Finance requirements.
- Design an approach for the AAL ERP Tribe to optimise impacts for AAL from implementing the SimpliFi architecture, including engaging Global SimpliFi teams to represent AAL requirements.
- Work closely with other Tribe Leads to ensure upstream and downstream impacts of ERP Tribe actions are clearly communicated and understood in a timely manner by relevant project team members.
- Anticipate and coordinate Finance resourcing for the ERP Tribe including development of business cases to support changes in resourcing and scope.
- Review and approve test plans and results for the ERP Tribe.
- Review and approve project documentation relevant to the ERP Scope.
- Represent the ERP Tribe on SimpliFi Project Working Groups and Steering Committees as required.
- Assess and manage Project Risks in partnership with Finance Line 1 Risk & Compliance and Product Owners. Contribute to SimpliFi project Risk Management Assessments.
- Host project forums with Finance teams as required.
- Manage and coordinate Finance communications with key stakeholders including Finance Leadership Team and product owners as required.
- Optimise SimpliFi Project outcomes for AAL Finance.

**About you**
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant qualifications.
- Experience managing teams in Finance functions, specifically involved in Finance reporting related processes.
- Advanced understanding of end-to-end Finance processes from record to report.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP and integration requirements with upstream and downstream systems.
- Insurance Industry Accounting experience.
- Excellent ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent ability to collaborate with other project team members to build strong working relationships and contribute to project outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence team without formal authority and collaborate with other professional teams and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, interpret and examine complex information, extract meaningful insights, evaluate options, and make informed choices.
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage diverse resources and demands.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas and influence key stakeholders.
