NSW Government Agency is looking for a Business Project Officer with Policy experience to work on a major strategic initiative. You will be supporting senior staff members and work interagency on one of the biggest programs of work in the state.
**About the role**:
- Support senior team members in managing assigned projects, and report on the delivery of projects
- Support the delivery of a governance and reporting framework involving interagency representation across three levels of government, including project assurance and reporting, secretariat support and development of strategic agenda items.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality analysis in various forms on complex policy and program administration issues, including cross-portfolio and inter-governmental matters.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communications with stakeholders across the three levels of government, the private sector and key external stakeholders to facilitate engagement, consultation and negotiation on policy issues and project delivery
- Monitor and report on policy, program or project implementation and assist senior team members in identifying and actioning emerging issues by scoping and preparing detailed project plans
**Essentials**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and / or an equivalent in experience
- Experience with the policy development process, including research, development, review and evaluation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
