**Your role**
The purpose of the Project Officer role is to manage and implement a range of projects, in line with the Department of Communities and Justice Cultural Development and Learning Strategy, to provide an organisation wide approach for a continuum of cultural learning opportunities for all DCJ employees.
**What you’ll do**
As part of the Cultural Development and Learning Team in the Employee Experience and Learning Directorate you will:
- Lead and manage projects delivered under the Cultural Development and Learning Strategy
- Undertaking research and analysis to support the development of key projects and the improvement of processes across Employee Experience and Learning
- Managing and overseeing certain areas of projects and implementations, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure successful project milestones are met
- Delivering assigned projects and processes within agreed upon deadlines and quality standards
- Liaising and working across Department Divisions and non-government stakeholders to ensure effective interface between program development, planning, service design and strategy implementation cultural sensitivity and cultural understanding.
You'll work as part of an agile team of five located across NSW and with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. You will contribute to improving organisational workplace culture in improving the Departments opportunities to grow Cultural Confidence/Intelligence.
**What we’re looking for**
- Cultural Confidence / Intelligence with ability to reflect on own bias
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of autonomy and ability to meet competing deadlines
- Ability to liaise with a wide range of differing stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Experience working on a range of projects
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, (i.e. SharePoint, TEAMS, OneNote, Lists, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint to support project documentation, tracking, and communication.
