**About the role**

The Asset Management Group (AMG) Roving Compliance Trainer position will play a critical role in ensuring that MinRes operates in accordance with all relevant OHS standards, and best practices. Whilst this position will operate on a 8/6 roster across various sites, some flexibility will be required regarding the roster to align with training requirements across the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with AMG Management, site training teams and corporate training support to assist with achieving goals and objectives
- Assist site teams with training needs, analysis, and contractor management
- Support the development and review of training procedures and processes
- Provide advice and guidance to site management and contractors to ensure they comply with MRL training standards, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Provide training for both AMG and onsite contractors where applicable
- Provide support to site production machine major shutdowns where applicable
- Participate in the daily pre-start meetings, attend to return to work meetings and operational meetings as required
- Plan travel and training schedules in advance to ensure adequate coverage across your nominated sites
- Monitor, update and analyse records of training performances via INX and Power BI databases whilst highlighting areas of concern & improvement with AMG management.
- Provide adequate handover notes to team members as required.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in auditing compliance within key WA legislation
- Significant experience in a mining compliance role with a high level of experience
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- The ability to self-manage and plan ahead
- Experience developing and implementing training management systems
- Competency using MS Office
- Western Australian ‘C” class drivers is a requirement of the role
- Western Australian HR drivers or above (desirable)
- Requirement to hold any or all of the following National Competencies or qualifications are desirable:

- RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in a Confined Space
- RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights
- MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres
- RIIHAN305D Operate a Gantry or Overhead Crane
- RIIHAN309E Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler
- RIIHAN311E Conduct Operations with an Integrated Tool Carrier
- RIIHAN301D Operate Elevating Work Platform (scissor lift)
- Desirable Qualifications and experience in; Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmosphere, Integrated Tool Carrier, EWP, Cranes, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift
