**About the role**

Reporting to the Superintendent - Training & Development, you will be responsible for the provision of Simulator training for Surface Mining Equipment (SME) across multiple platforms, positive and empowering interaction with trainees while delivering instruction and guidance, updating and maintaining valid and reliable training records within company systems.

**This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract | 7:7 Perth based roster**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Compliance with MRL Organisational Governance and Legislative obligations
- Leadership of your Duty of Care to MRL Governing Frameworks
- Provide constructive feedback encouraging performance
- Maintain respectful, effective, cohesive and reciprocal working relationships with all stakeholders
- Provide strong leadership that supports a high-performance culture
- Support, mentor and develop individuals that develop trust, high levels of engagement and empowerment

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Certificate IV TAE 40116 Training and Assessment
- Extensive knowledge of SME and ancillary mining equipment
- Knowledge of WHS legislative requirements
- Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years SME operation in a mining environment
- Minimum 3 years in a training role
- Experience in delivering face-to-face content, such as Inductions
