**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced **Supervisor Trainee Programs **to lead our growing traineeship programs in this high impact role**.** Primarily based at our head office in Osborne Park, with regular site visits, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of our workforce.

Reporting to the **Superintendent Learning and Development** the **Supervisor Trainee Programs **will be responsible for overseeing all MinRes traineeship programs, including coordinating established pathways and working with stakeholders to develop and deliver new programs. This role is responsible for leading a small team of compliance trainers and mentors to provide quality programs, with high completion and retention rates, that support MinRes now and into the future.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading a small team of compliance trainers and trainee mentors, including planning and scheduling of resources, team management and providing support to ensure consistent delivery across the program and operations
- Provide technical advice and support to your team and site regarding VET pathways and competency
- Creation, review and input into training packages and tools alongside SME’s
- Establishing effective relationships with relevant Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) including working with them to support compliance trainer approvals
- Develop and facilitate comprehensive program onboarding, ensuring new trainees are set up for success and well-versed in workplace policies, safety measures, and performance expectations
- Organise developmental workshops and forums to support holistic growth
- Develop and implement supporting tools and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of trainees
- Monitor trainee’s progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and support
- Provide guidance to operational leaders to ensure trainee’s receive comprehensive and well-rounded training experiences Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve programs

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Cert IV Training and Assessment Minimum TAE40116 (current)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a training leadership role
- Experience leading a successful team
- Strong understanding of VET pathways and industry standards
- Experience developing and delivering traineeship pathways
- Previous mining experience
