**Capability Specialist**

We are seeking a dynamic and solutions orientated Capability Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing a high-performing workforce that drives organisation success.

Permanent FT role based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Gold Coast + flexible remote work options

**As a Capability Specialist, you will**:

- Assist in implementing the People strategy by working as part of a small team to deliver on priorities.
- Collaboratively develop competency frameworks that define the skills, behaviours, and knowledge required for various and differing functions across the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement across different departments and organisational levels.
- Work collaboratively with internal Learning & Development teams to provide input into learning solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in capability development to integrate into related solutions.
- Provide individual coaching and mentoring to employees, supporting their capability development and career progression.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent development initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working in organisational development roles, exposure to developing capability frameworks & assessments, and/or involvement in leadership development.
- Strong problem-solving skills to tailor advice and solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and coaching.
- Familiarity with data analytics and using metrics to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.
