**Job Description**:
**Your New Role**

Defence has engaged Leidos for a new Program of work to conduct a large migration of business systems. The Program will have a dedicated delivery organisation, and we are seeking highly motivated and appropriately experienced staff to help us deliver outstanding results.

We have an opportunity for an accomplished Program or Senior Project Manager who offers experience delivering complex end-to-end projects to mobilise the next phase of this program.

We are looking for a Program Manager to be one of two leading a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. This is a large multi-year program, which has a dedicated PMO and full-time Program Scheduler.

As this role is a leadership role reporting to the Program Director, you must be able to create instant rapport with the interview team and demonstrate that you understand how to build relationships and influence. Making us laugh would definitely help.

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

- Manage team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators for the delivery of the program.
- Understand the integration of System Engineering Processes into large programs.
- Coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting and stakeholder management.
- Develop and update project artefacts as required including PMP, schedule, risk and issues registers, and communication plans etc.
- Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
- Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- Manage dependencies that are being delivered by other ICT providers.
- Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end-users and management.
- Participate in budget development and evaluating how the project plan changes impact cost and schedule.

**Qualifications**:
**About you and What You’ll Bring**
- 7+ years of project management experience in delivering outcomes in complex, multi-vendor environments.
- Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and juggling the complexity of managing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a leadership style that is consultative and attuned to the needs and expectations of the customer.
- Able to produce outcomes in a complex environment, while building partnerships and drives collaboration with others.
- Able to manage a high level of stakeholder complexity and had the end user in mind.
- Formal qualification in Project Management (Agile, PMP, Prince2 Practitioner) and/or Professional membership would be desirable.
- Experience in ITIL based project delivery.
- Previous proposal development and/or systems engineering practice experience would also be advantageous.

**Due to the nature of the work, this role will require applicants to be Australian Citizens with a current Baseline or NV-1 clearance.**
