**About the role**:
Our government client is seeking a Program Manager to help lead a multi-year program of work. The Program Manager leads almost 40 staff and contractors, comprised of three delivery teams, a separate enablement team, and service design/UI, quality assurance and product owner staff and contractors.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the definition of the program vision and roadmap, and its ongoing revision, cognisant of the organisational objectives
- Ensure the strategic alignment of products with the product vision
- Lead and evaluate staff within the program, including product owners, delivery leads, and the delivery manager
- Manage program processes and budgets
- Identify, monitor and manage dependencies, risks and issues
- Manage resources and stakeholders involved in the program
- Advise and report to executive leadership on all aspects of the program

**Mandatory criteria**:

- Proven experience as a Program Manager for a digital program delivered using agile techniques
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Outstanding leadership, management, stakeholder engagement and communications skills
- Tertiary digital qualifications or similar

**Desirable criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience delivering a program of digital projects using agile techniques - 50 %
- Demonstrated highly developed leadership, management, stakeholder engagement and communications skills - 25 %
- Experience in software engineering disciplines such as architecture, software analysis and requirements, construction, testing and maintenance - 25 %
- Tertiary qualifications, training or work experience in program management
