Exciting, rare Program Manager position available for 12-24 months. Oversight of critical infrastructure.

**Your new company**
Hays is working with our client, a widely known and trusted local company, to source a proactive and strategic Program Manager. The company, which has been present in the Canberra community for over 100 years, partners with the local community in the Essential services remit.

**Your new role**
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing security of critical infrastructure. The Program of work will focus on technical, process and governance improvements to both the ICT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Using established Project/Program Management tools to develop and maintain project plans including outcomes, scope, benefits, timing, costings etc
- Lead and implement people centred change through sound project management processes
- Maintain a holistic view of the business and delivery risk of the project to ensure that issues are identified and actioned proactively
- Measure and monitor the delivery performance of the project and develop initiatives to improve delivery performance through ongoing service and feedback

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in managing and delivering major ICT or cyber security projects of varying size and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a range of business stakeholders to develop ongoing work relationships that achieve positive outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or substantial other relevant business-related discipline
- Experience in establishing and improving business processes and standards in a complex business and/or government environment
- Knowledge of current Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (2018) as well as associated regulatory and compliance aspects (Desirable)
