This role will liaise handle incoming, outgoing consignments and general customer service enquiries in a professional and efficient manner and includes the following responsibilities:

- To ensure a high level of customer service to external & internal stakeholders.
- To ensure that all freight that requires a booking time slot for delivery is booked in time to align with customer requirements.
- To ensure the weight and cubic of loads booked are done to comply with SCT vehicle limitations.
- Complete time slot schedule highlighting any missed timeslots with a brief explanation.
- To assist in the removal of all paperwork for clients requiring bookings from all the manifests for incoming freight.
- Liaise with customers with any queries relating to incoming/outgoing freight
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Ensure Effective communications with Customers at all levels.
- To assist manager(s) and other staff when required
- To assist with back loading manifests when required

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Cert III in customer service
- Minimum 3 years in a customer service or similar role in the logistics industry
- Strong data entry and MS Office Skills
- Experience with SAP
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team, while taking responsibility for specific functions
