**Your new company**

Specialists in transforming supply chain processes, this global freight forwarder has been servicing their customers via a range of services for over a century. As a result of growth in Australia, this business is now on the hunt for an experienced Transport Coordinator to assist with their operation in Melbourne’s southeast.

**Your new role**

As a Transport Coordinator in this business, your tasks will include:

- Liaising with customers to coordinate domestic deliveries
- Working closely with 3PL providers, ensuring visibility of deliveries, and communicating any delays
- Monitoring of vessels and wharf availability
- Maintaining shipment status information regarding planned delivery against actual delivery
- Data administration, focusing on input of available dates, outturns, and checking delivery information accuracy
- Providing quotes and rates to clients or internal teams
- Specifically monitoring LCL availability at depots
- Ensuring site safety standards are upheld at all times

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Proven experience in the freight forwarding space
- Experience or exposure to the Cargowise platform
- 3PL liaison experience
- The ability to work within tight timelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
