**Maintenance Coordinator - Manufacturing - Workshop based in Perth**

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial components, operating in a high-volume production environment, and is recognised for producing top-tier conveyor components across various locations worldwide, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, and Chile. With multiple critical machines in operation, they need a Maintenance Coordinator to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and keep operations running efficiently.

**About the Role**

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance operations while managing a skilled team of tradespeople. You’ll ensure smooth workflows, prioritize critical equipment, and drive efficiency by centralizing maintenance records in the company’s system. If you’re someone who can confidently hold teams and vendors accountable while keeping operations seamless—this role is for you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the maintenance of critical production machinery and site facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Manage a small team (welder, electrician, and bricklayer) and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance records and documentation are centralized in the company’s system.
- Work closely with external maintenance providers to ensure service agreements are met.
- Identify and prioritize critical machines that impact production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.

**About you**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
- Strong background in maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation management..
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize critical machinery.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) or digital record-keeping.
- Background in reliability engineering or facilities maintenance is highly regarded.

**What’s On Offer**
- $50 - $55 per hour + super
- 38- 40 hours per week
- Bayswater location
- The position will initially commence on contract with the view of transitioning into a permanent position
- Plenty of free parking, located just off Tonkin Highway
