We have a new requirement for a Maintenance Coordinator with experience in Rail and Track maintenance, for this well-known mining organisation. This is a long-term career opportunity. You'll start off on an initial 6 month contract, however, the scope of work is indefinite, meaning you can make this a real career move. This is a FIFO role, on an 8:6 roster, and competitive hourly rates are available. This team is responsible for executing large-scale capital and operation expenditure track works including track renewal/reconstruction (plain line, turnouts, cross overs), re-rail & stress management and rail civil works. You'll add value by: - Coordinating the safe execution of Track Renewals maintenance work. - Developing maintenance strategies to improve safety and efficiency, and to reduce cost. - Developing and sustaining a strong safety and collaborative culture in the track renewals team. - Supporting the construction lead to ensure equipment is available as required to execute work In terms of your background, you'll ideally have experience in: - Demonstrated experience in leading workgroups and contractors to complete maintenance works (experience with maintenance of rail equipment is desirable) - Risk management in maintenance works - Maintenance of Rail - Track works equipment - Development of maintenance strategies - Development of labor team to complete planned and unplanned maintenance - Hazard identification and rectification - Logistical movements of equipment to facilitate maintenance - Coordination/Supervisor experience in maintenance of rail / mining equipment - Good communication, interpersonal and people management skills with a range of audiences. - Computer literacy with Microsoft suite, 1SAP and planning systems. - Good planning skills and the ability to oversee works to successful completion. - Administration and prioritisation including time management capability. - Competent in reading detailed plans and elevations. - Sound judgement including balancing competing issues. - Ability to identify and prevent risks. You'll ideally have the following qualifications: - Current full West Australian "C" class motor vehicle license or current equivalent Australian State. - Leadership experience in maintenance of rail / mining equipment - HR & MR License desirable **Who are we** At PERSOLKELLY, our passion is - and always has been - putting you first.
