We are currently seeking a Rostering coordinator to join our vibrant & collaborative Adelaide team in a full-time role.
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is the leading healthcare recruitment solutions provider of nursing staff, aged care workers and medical specialist placements in Australia with operations in every state and territory.
The Allied Health division is looking for an enthusiastic Rostering Coordinator to assist in scheduling Allied Health professionals across Australia. This is a full-time role based in Adelaide, reporting to the Team Leader.
In this role you will be responsible for planning and scheduling various disciplines of Allied Health professionals nationally. The role requires you to work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists. Ideally, you will be self-motivated with a positive, “can do” attitude with drive and initiative. You will also have great organisation and time management skills and a real people person
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Effective deployment of therapy staff on the rostering system
- Long-term planning of schedules with consideration of client service agreements, fill rates, therapist availability/contracted hours and utilisation.
- Ongoing adjustment and prioritization of therapist schedules in response to changes in therapist availability, Client expectations, role vacancies and ever-changing government regulations with regards to Public Health.
- Liaising with therapists in the provision of allied health services.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with therapists and clients.
- Working closely with involved teams to assist problem-solving and support effective deployment of therapy staff.
- Ensuring therapists are following policy and procedure in relation to sick/personal and annual leave.
- Regularly meet and contribute to strategic decision-making with other divisions.
- Booking travel and accommodation when required
- Strong Customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Personal integrity and respect for confidential information.
- Sense of urgency; ability to assess and meet priorities in a timely manner.
- Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate with other business functions.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently, as well as within your state’s team.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- High-level oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent work ethic, energy, passion, and commitment
- PC literacy - Intermediate MS Office skills
