Business Development Representative

**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team at **Bulk Buys** as a Business Development Representative focused on onboarding **new customers, large retail chains**, and **businesses** across Melbourne. We're looking for someone **highly motivated and confident** who can connect with industries such as **gyms, medical centres, aged care facilities, cleaning companies, and more**.
You’ll be responsible for **growing our customer base**, expanding our product presence, and managing inbound leads we generate through our online platforms. This is a **full-time role** based in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, with a mix of client visits and in-office planning.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Visiting customers and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Onboarding large chain stores and multi-site businesses with our product lines
- Following up on quality **inbound leads** from online channels and converting them into sales
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth in key industries.
- Creating and managing a customer schedule based on existing accounts and prospecting efforts
- Confident and experienced in making cold calls.
- Collaborating with internal teams to provide excellent service and resolve client issues efficiently
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and sales performance
- Increasing our brand and product presence in **retail, wholesale, and commercial spaces**
**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in a **sales or account management** role, ideally within B2B or FMCG
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with clients at all levels
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to win new accounts and secure recurring business
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a proven track record of **meeting and exceeding sales targets**:
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple clients and leads across various industries
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a results-driven team

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
