This leading FMCG organisation based in the South-Eastern suburbs are recruiting an experienced Business Development Representative to join the professional and supportive team.

**Your Role**
This pivotal role within the sales team ensures that the team is achieving its growth targets. Reporting into the GM of the business, the Business Development Representative duties will include:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through introduction calls
- Present the company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Report to the General Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Continual process improvement of the sales function to achieve targets
- Bringing onboard new business and identifying and closing business opportunities within the existing client base.
As this is a newly created role there is a fabulous opportunity to improve processes; creating a new way to achieve results for the organisation. This is a close knit team and every person in the team is responsible for the organisation's success.
**Your Profile**
You will be driven by achieving success for an organisation through the business development opportunities you identify and ultimately close. You will have proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or experience within a similar role. You will have hands-on experience of using multiple sales techniques over the phone, using your outstanding relationship building ability and skill to close a deal whilst still remaining client focused.
You will have a track record of achieving sales quotas and understand working with sales performance metrics. Your ability to negotiate and communicate will be second to none coupled with your ability to close the deal.
