Emergency and Resilience Officer

Opportunity:
As our new Emergency and Resilience Officer, you will report to the General Manager of Health & Safety. You will be accountable for coordinating RSL LifeCare’s Emergency Management and Business Resilience Programs. This position plays a key role in the overall risk management of RSL LifeCare.
You will also:
- Support, manage and enhance the Emergency Management processes for the organisation including the framework and associated documents.- Coordinate the implementations of Business Continuity/Resilience plans and annual program of work.- Prepare reports, recommendations and promote awareness of Emergency and Crisis Management across RSL LifeCare and the leadership team.-
- Assist in developing the Business Continuity Framework and updating of plans.
We need you to have:
- Qualifications in Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Business Resilience, or related field/relevant experience (desirable)- 5 years’ experience in Emergency Management/Crisis Management/Business Continuity- Knowledge of Emergency Management Regulations and Crisis/BCP Australia Standards- An understand of the Aged Care and Veterans industry and environment would be advantageous- Australian work rights and National Police Clearance Check
