**About the role**:

- The Project Management Officer (PMO) provides project coordination and operational support across Emergency Department reform programs led by the System Performance Support Branch. You’ll contribute to project planning, governance, financial reporting, and the preparation of high-quality ministerial briefs, reports, and correspondence. Working closely with directors and senior managers, you’ll help ensure programs are completed on time, on budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
- This is a hands-on delivery role with opportunities to collaborate across teams, influence change, and work on high-priority NSW Health system projects.
- The Project Management Officer (PMO) will be responsible for supporting the management of projects across the System Performance Support Branch to support Emergency Department reform. This will include supporting project governance and the reporting framework to the SPS team, to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope. This will include and is not limited to preparing, authoring, editing and
- reviewing the provision of high-level communications and correspondence for approval including ministerial correspondence, briefs, policies, reports, submissions and notes to ensure the comprehensiveness, accuracy and timeliness of written information.
- The PMO will work with the Branch directors and managers to manage all program and executive level reporting. The role will include monitoring financial reports specific to the programs to report on financial risks and issues. The PMO will assist with the monitoring and reporting of program benefits and outcomes achieved.
- Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $127150 - 144444 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide comprehensive project management support, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, stakeholder engagement and change management activities, project reporting, project meetings and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
- Prepare high-level written materials including ministerial correspondence, policies, and briefings
- Working with the Branch directors and managers to manage all program and executive level reporting including reporting and managing risks and issues.
- Manage projects to ensure compliance with governance and quality requirements are adhered to for the successful delivery of key milestones and outcomes.
- Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision making.
- Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities.
