**Where you’ll be working**
The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**What you’ll be doing**
You will have demonstrated experience in media, public relations and corporate communications in a complex, fast paced environment.
Essential to the role will be your ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with competing deadlines and priorities and delivering on time and within budget.

**Essential requirements**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations, media studies or related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant industry/professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with media, public relations and corporate communications in a complex, fast paced environment.
- Experience in writing and editing for multiple channels, formats and audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering communications assets in a range of formats for a variety of channels and diverse audiences.
- Experience in basic multimedia content development, including taking photos and shooting video on personal devices.
- Experience in developing tactical communications plans aligned with broader strategy
**Pre-screening questions**
- Briefly, in around 300 words, outline your skills and experience across communications disciplines.
- Please provide a brief overview of communications plan that you have implemented for diverse audiences, outlining the steps you took to ensure the message resonated with the target audience.
