National HR Manager/business Partner

Our client, a well-established global company, a household brand is looking for an exceptional professional to join its team to head the HR function in Australia across its business units. As the National Human Resources Manager, you will partner closely with business to drive an inclusive and diverse culture and create relevant human resource policies and programs for employees in line with business needs while building strong relationships with partners in sourcing and developing talent while driving effective HR service delivery across the company.

As the National Human Resources Manager, you will partner closely with business to drive an inclusive and diverse culture and create relevant human resource policies and programs for employees in line with business needs while building strong relationships with partners in sourcing and developing talent while driving effective HR service delivery across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
As a HR leader and business partner, the role holder will provide counsel on all HR matters and ensure that HR goals are aligned with the company's strategic plans and programs for the country business units:

- Partnering with leadership teams to develop key strategies and objectives
- Lead the organization change management process in response to business strategies.
- Participate in and be a key contributor at key management discussions and provide HR input for strategic business projects and long-term planning and budgeting processes.
- Partner with TA team to ensure timely pipelining of quality talent to meet business needs.
- Play a leading role in key HR processes including talent review, compensation, performance management, talent development for the business units
- Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees on performance and development.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment which encourages the full use of the organization's diverse talents and abilities.
- Drive workforce planning strategy including productivity and workforce effectiveness actions.
- Support governance framework for employee and labor relations with focus on compliance to local laws and consistent deployment of best practices that maintains harmonious industrial relations.
- At least 10+ years of HR business partnering experience preferably with at least 3 years in a country HR leadership role.
- A proven track record
- Ability to balance between being 'hands on' and 'strategic'.
- Post graduate qualifications in HR
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, assertive by conviction and collaborative by nature.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong people skills and people oriented
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and use of data to provide key business insights.
- Ownership on execution with focus on result orientation.
- Be able to travel (locally and globally) based on requirement
