About the role
Supporting our Cracow Gold Operations, this is a corporate, Brisbane city-based role with some travel to site required initially and then ad hoc in order to maintain, develop and strengthen relationships both internally and with relevant suppliers and vendors.
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all purchasing duties including follow up of purchase orders, creating and matching requisitions/work orders and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers alike.
You will work with an extremely supportive leader and a great team in a role where you will genuinely have the chance to influence and positively impact our business.
About You
You will be an exceptional communicator, who’s strengths lie in building strong working relationships with those around you, including the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders remotely
You will have a great eye for detail and a keen interest in identifying process improvements.
You’re a business cost saver by nature and have demonstrated experience negotiating positively and effectively with vendors and suppliers to get the most cost effective and efficient results in relation to purchasing and procurement
You are a ‘seasoned’ professional, who loves a challenge, but is looking to work in a rewarding environment and genuinely make a difference to how our business operates and procures
Ideally you will possess experience using Pronto, however a similar ERP system coupled with the ability to learn new systems quickly will see you succeed in this role
Strong experience negotiating Contracts for cost effective procurement of goods and services
Exceptional knowledge and experience of purchasing best practices and procedures.

The Operation You’ll Support
Cracow Gold Operations is an established high-grade, low-cost gold operation located near the towns of Cracow and Theodore in central Queensland, on the traditional lands of the Wulli Wulli people. Aeris acquired Cracow Gold Operations on 1 July 2020 and holds a significant tenement package over the Cracow goldfields covering 935km2.
Cracow has multiple ore bodies accessed by a single decline to the surface and mined via open stoping through a modified Avoca mining sequence. Processing is via a 600,000tpa capacity facility involving conventional crushing and grinding, followed by a leaching / CIP circuit to recover gold and silver doré.
