**The Opportunity**

The Purchasing Officer is a newly created opportunity with the primary focus of managing all purchasing requirements for Wellbeing. This will include:

- Researching and negotiating the best price and quality for Wellbeing’s supply needs.
- Establishing relationships and serving as a representative of the company when negotiating contracts and building vendor and supplier trust.
- Tracking and monitoring the delivery and confirmation of all materials and supplies.
- As Purchasing Officer, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the tight knit operations team. A hands-on role, you will need to be flexible and willing to assist and cover for other colleagues from time to time.

**Your Experience**

As Purchasing Officer you have proven experience in a similar role with a range of the following skills and attributes:

- Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Working knowledge of supply chain procedures and a range of purchasing software.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with new and existing suppliers and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective rapport-building.
- A team player who is down-to-earth showing respect for self and others.
- ‘Tech savvy’ across a range of software including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of the food and FMCG industry would be highly advantageous.
