**About the Role**

Due to the ongoing growth of the JBS Australia business, we are currently recruiting an IT Purchasing Officer in a newly created position. Based at our Northern Operations Head Office in Riverview (Ipswich), and reporting to the IT Service Improvement Manager, this role is responsible for all aspects of IT purchasing/procurement, billing, and financial reporting for the IT function across all JBS Australia subsidiaries.
- Raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders within SAP
- Invoice processing and management within Opentext Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system
- Raising and processing capital expenditure requests
- Financial reporting against key IT cost centre elements, including telecommunications and printing
- Capitalization and disposal of assets
- Internal re-allocation of shared services costs across all business units
- Supporting with IT contracts and renewals
- Assisting with project budget forecasting and tracking
- Supporting month-end financial reporting for the IT Function
- Handling courier bookings, receipt of deliveries and inventory of IT assets
- Porting of mobile phone services and associated adds/moves/changes

**About You**
- Previous experience within a similar Purchasing Officer role
- Previous experience with IT administration related activities including: procurement administration, financial processing and reporting and accounts receivable
- Experience with SAP (highly regarded)
- Financial acumen
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven experience achieving outcomes with available resources and within set time frames
- Ability to work both within a team as well as autonomously
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products such as Windows, Office365, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
