We are a media organisation who operate a Christmas based website and online community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who loves to get into the Christmas spirit, to coordinate our social media presence and moderate content submissions, in the lead up to Christmas. You will play an essential role in our team, being responsible for community engagement and driving visitors to our website.

Starting late November and working up until Christmas, this role offers flexible working hours; hours will fluctuate each week (average 9 hours a week) and some weekend work is required. An opportunity for extra work is available for strong performers.

This fantastic role gives you the opportunity to work from home at a time that suits, or a location that you choose You will need to provide your own computer and equipment, and have a reliable internet connection.

**The Role**:

- Manage our social presence on Facebook (predominantly), Instagram, TikTok and any other social platforms - posting on all platforms, reviewing analytics and making sure everyone knows about our website
- Monitor and engage with related social media communities including moderating our Facebook groups.
- Gather and create engaging content for our social media pages.
- Edit existing content to ensure information is current.
- Ad-hoc website content review and support.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent use and knowledge of Social Media.
- The ability to write and produce engaging social content in clear English.
- Be able to work autonomously to execute and build on our social media strategy.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Photo editing, video editing and digital marketing knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
- Willing to take on extra work in other marketing areas such as being interviewed is also advantageous.
- Please note this is a contractor position and you will require an ABN.
