Your daily tasks will often change depending on the priority of the business, but expect a fast paced, inclusive working environment that revolves around providing business support services. This includes Human Resources and Finance services, such as providing advice, staff appointments, processing forms/invoices, reporting and additional projects. You will need to work independently as well as a member of a team and will often be required to work within tight time constraints and under pressure.
The Executive Support Officer, AO4 is a role in which you will assist the Senior Executive Support Officer in the following:
Human Resources
- Provide advice to senior team members, management and other key stakeholders and clients on a broad range of strategic and operational HR management policies, procedures, systems, practises and workforce management issues.
- Provide advice to business groups and senior officers in addressing workforce management issues.
- Prepare report recommendations and other correspondence to management and stakeholders on operational HR initiatives and issues.
- Liaise with Human Resources, Corporate Services to assist in the provision of information and reports relating to issues and incidents
- Assist in the provision of data and detailed analysis in relation to various HR programs and objectives.
- Respond to HR enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Finance:

- Provide advice in the purchase and management of assets, inventory items and other goods and services.
- Support the divisions budget management strategies through accurate reporting and record entry.
- Maintain and coordinate financial information including financial reports, financial projects and preparation of budget load and budget adjustments.
- Assist Executive and Senior Officers in finance matters (Corporate Card Assistant).
- Produce financial reports including budget analysis and projections.

**All Executive Support Officers, AO4 may be required to**:

- Provide confidential administrative support services, including word processing, spreadsheets, use of office equipment and publishing tools.
- Provide support for team members and manager as required, in relation to project activities and general administrative activities.
- Support the division to meet its workplace health and safety obligations which may include acting as or supporting Trained Safety Advisors.
- Support the Executive Officer in the coordination of whole of division projects and initiatives including monitoring project progress and reporting.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
