Principal HR Consultant

In the role of Principal HR Consultant (Equity, Inclusion & Diversity) you will: - Contribute to design and implementation of the department's diversity and inclusion program to achieve the department's strategic objective to respect, protect and promote human rights and diversity in our workplace and work for enduring cultural change in the Queensland public sector. Design and execute the program of work to support delivery of the DFV Prevention Strategy including delivering best practice learning programs
- Maintain well-developed knowledge of contemporary diversity and inclusion frameworks, practices and solutions. Design and facilitate workshops and briefings for management and staff
- Undertake diagnostics to ensure alignment to sector-wide strategies as well as our guiding principles and strategic plan. Build and maintain positive relationships across the department, external organisations, and other government agencies to deliver department outcomes. Monitor emerging themes and trends in the organisation to inform best practice and most effective diversity and inclusion strategies. Assess and measure effectiveness of the programs, offerings and events and recalibrate if required. Contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of diversity, equity and inclusion team services and initiatives to ensure services support the department's strategic outcomes.
