Our client is a local government that is currently looking for an experienced Analyst to provide their expertise and assist with design and development of innovation initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and shape project strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Employ effective project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor innovation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct workshops, identify challenges and roadblocks within projects and work with teams to develop solutions that drive innovation and project success.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, align interests, and ensure projects meet organizational goals and expectations.
- Develop innovative initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and promote thought leadership among other councils.
- Manage project resources, budgets, timelines and reporting efficiently.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience with innovation frameworks, such as design thinking or lean startup.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align innovation projects with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Proven experience in project management and the successful execution of innovation initiatives.
- Exceptional facilitation and problem-solving skills to foster creative thinking and drive project innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage initiatives that promote thought leadership and organizational excellence.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical terms for diverse stakeholders.
