**Project Finance Analyst**

**Location**: Melbourne
**Contract Type**: 3 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and financial expertise to contribute to the success of strategic initiatives and projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Business Case Development**: Create robust and well-supported business cases for project proposals and strategic initiatives.
- ** Financial Modelling & Analysis**: Analyze financial data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring sound financial decision-making.
- ** Project Finance Management**: Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**: Effectively present financial information to stakeholders and senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Identify financial issues and work collaboratively to develop and implement effective solutions.
- ** Commercial Acumen**: Use your financial insights to link financials to business drivers, helping guide prioritization and trade-off decisions.

**Key Competencies & Skills**:

- Strong **analytical** and **financial modelling** skills.
- Solid **project finance management** experience (budgeting, forecasting, cost control).

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, ideally within a project-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools (Excel, financial software, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
- Relevant **qualifications** in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
