This role offers an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Officer to assist with the planning, development and implementation of asset management plans, and ensuring these projects are maintained in the most efficient manner. The primary responsibilities assigned to your role are:
- Ensure data integrity for one or more asset classes being Roads, Paths, Parks etc.
- Assist the Asset Management Coordinator with developing the scope and overseeing the acquisition of work for data collection
- Assist the Asset Management Coordinator with developing the 5 Year Capital Works Program
- Manage the capturing of asset and spatial data including "As Constructed" plans and ASPEC/ADAC file format
- Support the City's stakeholders by providing good profession advice when required
- Manage the liaison with and reporting to external agencies such as WALGA and State/Federal Government
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Comprehensive understanding of International Standard Requirement for Asset Management, ISO 55001
- Current C class Drivers' License
- Demonstrated experience in Asset Management within Local Government, including the conduction of inspection and condition audits
- Skills in customer engagement and management, data analysis, written and verbal communication, and time management
